Managed by Arna, the main focus of the group is in producing professional-quality cosplay photos and Death Note photo doujinshi fan books. What had originally started as an attempt to take nicer cosplay photos soon led to more complex experiments in photographic storytelling. Before soon, Arna begun fitting together various segments of photography into coherent scenes and story lines. With the addition of more staff like Jyin Myomyin, our official print copy editor, and occasional photographer, Blue Note was formed on the 16th of November 2007.
There are plans to debut with a limited release of "The Thrill is in the Chase" (a photo-doujinshi of L's role in the lives of his successors, Mello and Near) at the SMASH! Sydney 2008. Blue Note is currently looking for a suitable Yagami Light cosplayer, and has been focused instead on L back stories and stories of the Wammy House.
