Money is always a difficult issue and this project does come with a price tag. We want help - we really do. And I hope that once you look over our list of expenses you will realize that what we do is no small feat.
If you want to donate money, that would be nice. Really nice. Another way is to pre-order our doujinshi - the money from that goes into our projects.
Now, I know that sometimes donating money is tricky, but have you ever considered donating out of your own pocket or home WITH ACTUAL STUFF??? Like make up, props, and so on?? Read the list below and email us with a detailed description of what you intend to send if you want to donate and we'll send you back a mailing address. THANK YOU!

1. L's sweets budget
Lollipops disppear every 10 minutes when the camera is rolling and has to be replaced MANY times throughout the shoot; this costs money, let me tell you. So far we've gone through several boxes of chocolate, several boxes of biscuits, countless lollipops, a packet of English waffles, a bag of Belgian truffles, bags of jellybeans and one box of Roses. Please help me feed L (and Mello) the way he deserves to be fed. Donations of food (and realistic-looking plastic food) accepted!!!
2. Hotel rooms/locations
We have been lucky in this respect so far due to generous donations. In the end though, we need locations to shoot at - and many of these are in places like hotel rooms, on ferries, in a cafe or a bar. We need money to pay for the right to use these. Please help us - donate your room if you live in Sydney or are just on a visit for a few hours or you can just chip in.
3. Make up, camera considerations and special affects
Mello needs bandages, fake blood, liquid silicon, other wound-making cosplay.
L needs eyeshadow and green facial foundation.
Near needs to have green skin so he doesn't turn out BROWN against the whiteness of his jammies.
Matt needs bruises for every time Mello punches him.
Watari needs more wrinkles.
While normal cosplay means showing up for a day or a weekend, these guys wear make up for every single shoot - sometimes we shoot for a WHOLE WEEK! We go through eye shadow and green foundation faster than you ever would. If anyone wants to donate green foundation, liquid silicon, or any theatric make up stuff, by ALL means do so, or help chip in.
4. Props
Guns for Mello, techy stuff for Matt, toys for Near.
While normal cosplayers will buy one for themselves and be satisfied with that, we can't repeatedly use the same things again and again because this is a doujinshi. Thus we go shopping - it kills us to buy all this stuff. So all those old toys and regular junk you've got lying around, collecting dust and taking up space? Give it to us! PLEASE.
5. Misc
Anything from food (coming along on a shoot and giving us bento-boxes of LOVE), your place as a location (send us a picture), your driving skills (we need shoots in car interiors), clothes you don't want that we can use as part of the cosplay... we want it all! Even empty Japanese department store shopping bags for our Light to eventually carry and pretend he is in Tokyo.
